In Kyonggi, in the Youngin region about 40 km from Seoul, BASF is developing a Three Litre House, together with a construction company and a fuel cell supplier.
Thanks to Neopor® insulation, a plaster containing Micronal® PCM, a ventilation and a fuel cell system, the house will consume only 30 kWh per square metre per year for heating and ventilation, thus showing what is achievable by applying innovative products and technologies.
Our raw material Neopor®, used for producing insulation panels and blocks, has received an energy award in Korea, thanks to its innovative characteristics: excellent insulation performance with less raw materials.
The Korean Three Litre House is not all we are doing: BASF is also participating in other low energy projects in China, Malaysia and India. |
