International Summer Courses for Scientists and Engineers |

In each summer BASF invites PhD students of chemistry and PhD/graduate students of engineering (chemical/process and automation engineering) to the International Summer Courses. About 100 young talents from all over the world will meet in Ludwigshafen, Germany, to take part in these interdisciplinary courses.
The International Summer Courses offer a unique opportunity for young scientists and engineers to gain insight into the chemical industry and learn about R&D, engineering, technical services, marketing or production. As representatives of their university and their working group the participants will exchange experience and ideas within the group and with young BASF colleagues by presentations, discussions, plant visits, a poster session or one of the numerous informal meetings or cultural events.
The application deadline for BASF's summer courses in 2008 has expired, and the next courses will be announced at this website in January 2009.
