BASF is sustaining relations to many universities and research institutes all over the world. Collaborations with outstanding scientists are an important source of innovation and are opening access to new technologies and business segments for BASF.
In order to establish early contacts to young scientific talents multifaceted events for graduate and PhD students of natural and engineering sciences are organized. These imply e.g. numerous excursions for international university groups as well as the annual summer courses for graduate and PhD students from all over the world.
The unit Science Relations and Innovation Management is supporting BASF's research and technology units by coordinating collaborations and serving as a contact to professors and graduates interested in BASF.
